π Big news incoming! Weβre cooking up brand-new locations for 2026, so stay tuned β dates and places dropping soon like your favorite playlist on a long run. πββοΈπ¨
Runners for Public Lands (RPL) envisions a world in which everyone has access to healthy, clean, and runnable environments. We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that empowers runners to engage in climate action, protect public lands, and expand access to nature for all people.
π₯ And now, for something epic:
Weβre teaming up with the United States Forest Service (USFS), Los Padres Forest Association, and Coyote Two Moon to bring you the 2026 Trail Work Series right here in Ventura County!
This series is all about getting our running community dirty (in a good way) while learning, giving back, and bonding with the land we love. Think: hands-on trail work, cool eco-lessons, and a chance to flex those calves and your conservation chops.
π οΈ Hereβs the dirt (literally):
4 separate trail work events
Each one includes a bite-sized, brain-fueling educational piece
All officially approved and insured by the USFS
Led by seasoned pros from Los Padres Forest Association
Managed by RPL staff and our mighty volunteers
Come to one or come to all β but the more you show up, the better the swag! πππ
(Hint: sweet stuff from Nomadix, HOKA, and GU awaits.)
